TUESDAY, Feb. 9 St. Peter Cathedral, Mar- quette will host Mass Im- pact beginning at 6:30 p.m. The evening begins with a potluck supper in the parish hall followed by Eucharistic Adoration in the Cathedral with music, a witness talk and Benediction. It is of- fered the second Tuesday of each month and is a family friendly event. Sign-up by calling the parish office at (906) 226-6548. FRIDAY, Feb. 12 St. Christopher, Mar- quette will host a fish bake from 4 until 7 p.m. in the parish hall. The dinner in- cludes baked fish, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, coffee and dessert. The cost is $11 for adults, $5.50 for children 6-12 and five and under are free. Take-out is also avail- able. TUESDAY, Feb. 16 A Healing Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Parish in Manistique at noon. The sacrament of anointing of the sick will be offered to those who wish to receive it. Prayer teams will also be present. FEB. 18-20 & MARCH 3-6 A Non-Roman Catholic Cursillo for men will take place at Marygrove Retreat Center in Garden, Feb. 18-20, the Non-Roman Cursillo for women will be held March 3-6. A Cursillo weekend is an encounter with Christ. Through a series of conferences by ministers and witness talks by fellow Christians, the Cursillo weekend is designed to empower people to be more of a Christian leaven in their families, neighborhoods and workplaces. MARCH 4-5 In response to the call by Pope Francis to have 24 hours of Eucharistic Adora- tion on March 4 and 5, St. Cecilia Parish in Caspian will pray a rosary at 7:30 a.m. before the 8 a.m. Mass. Adoration will follow for 24 hours with the Divine Mercy chaplet prayed at 3 p.m., a rosary prayed at 7:30 a.m. on March 5 followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and an 8 a.m. Mass. Area churches are invited to join. MARCH 18-20 A Youth Encounter weekend will take place at Marygrove Retreat Center in Garden. The weekend is open to young people ages 16-20.
