Cost is $11 for adults, $5.50 for children ages 6-12, with ages 5 and younger free. FEB. 16-19 Marygrove Retreat Cen- ter will hold a non-Roman Catholic Cursillo retreat for men. Through a series of con- ferences by ministers and witness talks by fellow Christians, the Cursillo weekend is designed to empower people to be more of a Christian leaven in their families, neighborhoods, and workplaces. FEBRUARY 24-26 Marygrove Retreat Center in Garden will host a special silent directed retreat for Catholic Campus Ministry students. The weekend is being or- ganized by Father Ryan Ford and Sister Ellen Enright. Interested students should contact their local Catholic Campus Ministry for further information and to register. SUNDAY, Feb. 26 Holy Spirit Parish in Menominee will host a Mardi Gras party at St. John Paul II Catholic Academy from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. It will feature a chicken din- ner, served until 1:30 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $8 for ages 12 and above, $4 for youth age 6-12, and children 5 and under are free. Also available will be children's games and prizes, a bake sale and various drawings. SUNDAY, March 5 The Legion of Mary, Marquette Curia will meet at 1:30 p.m. at Guardian Angels, Crystal Falls The women's league of St. Barbara Parish in Vulcan will host a morning of rec- ollection for teen girls and women. The day begins at 8 a.m. with Mass, a breakfast buffet and presentation. Father Timothy Ferguson will present on modern day female saints, such as Moth- er Teresa, St. Gianna Molla and St. Zelie Martin. Lenten Mission scheduled at St. John the Evangelist A Lenten Mission titled, Identity Crisis: Living in the truth of who God made you to be, is set to take place March 5-8 at St. John the Evangelist in Ishpeming. Father Brad Sjoquist will lead the mission each night at 6:30 p.m. The respective talks are: Children of God the Father, Our New Identity in Christ, The Spirit of Adoption, and Brothers and Sisters in the Family of God. On Sunday evening a complimentary dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. prior to the talk. Participants are asked to RSVP ahead of time by calling (906) 486-6212. Scholarship available for graduating seniors Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Bibianne Bessette Scholarship Fund. The scholarships aid graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a college or vocational education at an accredited degree granting institution. Appli- cations must be received no later than March 15. Registration open for diocesan Spring Study Day This year's Spring Study Day is set for April 6 at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette. The presentation titled, The Message of Fatima, will be given by Father Corey Litzner. He will look at how each of us can live the message of Fatima in our daily lives.
