Taylor, 91, grandmother of Father Ryan Ford, died Feb. 12, 2016 at Bishop Noa Home in Escanaba. Taylor was born on Feb. 6, 1925 in Escanaba to Henry and Lillian Beaumier. She was a 1943 graduate of Escanaba High School. On Oct. 28, 1950, she married Arnold Taylor at St. Joseph Church in Escanaba. She was a volunteer for the faith formation program at St. Anne Parish in Escanaba, Holy Name Catholic School boosters and St. Vincent de Paul Society for over 20 years. Taylor traveled extensively in the United States and especially enjoyed the trips to Alaska and Ireland with her husband. Survivors include her husband, Arnold, of Es- canaba; children Ann (Dale) Ford of Gladstone, Dave (Sue) Taylor of Gaylord, Mary (Todd) Hurley of Escanaba; grandchildren, Shawn (Chantel) Curtin, Rev. Ryan Ford, Hayley Ford, Ben Taylor and Catherine Taylor; brother, Dr. John (Mary Jane) Beaumier; brother-in-law, Joe Grondine; sister-in-law, Pat Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Lionel and Vi Beaumier; sisters, Marcella Flagstadt and Mary Lou Grondine; and grandson, John Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her father- and mother-in-law, Eli and Jennie Taylor; brothers-in-law, Roy and Ken Taylor and sisters- and brothers-in-law, Olive and Mel Racicot and Elaine and Maurice Gauthier. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Feb. 16 at St. Anne Parish in Escanaba. Her grandson, Father Ryan Ford, and Rev. Francis DeGroot concelebrated the Mass.
