Diocesan parishes represented at Amazing Parish Conference PHOTOS COURTESY OF DENISE FOYE AND HEIDI GORSALITZ Leadership teams, along with their pastors from six parishes of the Diocese of Marquette attended the Amazing Parish Conference held in Detroit, Mich., April 18-20. Dynamic speakers, practical training, and inspiring presentations made the conference engaging for the 1,100 participants. Each parish team present was challenged to embrace changes that will move them to be intentional, evangelizing, and mission-oriented parishes. The diocesan parishes that were represented were Holy Spirit and Resurrection Parishes (Menominee), All Saints (Gladstone), St. Mary (Norway), St. Louis the King (Harvey), St. Joseph (Sault Ste. Marie) and Sacred Heart of Jesus (L'Anse). The speakers included JeffCavins, Father James Mallon, Matt Manion, Curtis Martin, Sister Regina Marie, along with others. Music was led by Catholic artist, Matt Maher (pictured in the center photo above).
