Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Mar- quette. Zeno, originally from Escanaba, had resided at Jaco- betti for the last three years. He was born Dec. 31, 1923 in Van Meer, Mich., the son of J. Clarence and Olga (Anderson) Zeno. He served in the U.S. Armys 87th In- fantry Division during World War II for 34 months. Zeno attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1950 with a degree in geology. He retired from the accounting department of Mead Paper Company in Escanaba in 1986 after 30 years of service. He married Lucille Nelson on Dec. 6, 1952, and she preceded him in death on May 11, 1993. He then married Dorothy Anderson on Sept. 14, 1996, and she passed away on May 4, 2013. Zeno was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba and belonged to the OSF St. Francis Hospi- tal Auxiliary, U.C.T. (United Commercial Travelers), Elks Club, Golden Kiwanis, Glad- stone Swedish Club, and the Highland Golf Course. He also worked with the youth of Delta County through a program called Junior Achievement. He is survived by his son, Ward T. (Jill) Zeno of Bark River; daughter, Loreene Zeno (Dave) Koskey of Mar- quette; five grandchildren: Jodi (Jesse) Greenfield of Bark River, Jessica (Brad) Mason of Negaunee, Sarah (Brad) Nault of Estero, Fla., Ward C. (Tiffany) Zeno of W. Bloomfield, Mich., and Ra- chel (Hank) Kemp of South St. Paul, Minn.; a sister, Marian Nye, of Escanaba; two step-children, Sue (Ed) McCarthy of Escanaba and Bruce (June) Anderson of Gladstone; five step-grand- children: Shawn Anderson of Omaha, Neb., Cheryl An- derson of Gladstone, Adam (Kandi Bourdeau) Marenger of Escanaba, Jesse (Mykeda) Marenger of Freeland, Mich. and Tara Marenger of Grand Rapids. In addition to his wives, Zeno was preceded in death by his parents, mother- and father- in-law, Rose and Victor Nel- son; daughter-in-law, Donna (Bittner) Zeno; and brother- in-law, Harold Nye. Zenos funeral took place on May 12 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba, Rev. Erik Heski officiated. Burial was held in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Escanaba. Clarence Zeno Clarence 'Ze' Elwood Zeno Suzanne Madeline Timock, 97, the mother of Rev. Ronald Timock, died on April 27, 2016 at her home in Stephenson surrounded by her family. She formerly lived in Flushing and Flint, Mich. Timock was born on Sept. 29, 1918 in Flint, the daughter of Steven and Anna Mas- cko. She was a 1936 graduate of Flint North- ern High School. Timock worked for AC Spark Plug and the Chevy Engine Plant, before quitting to raise her family. She married Clarence Timock in 1941, and they were married for 50 years. Timock was most recently a member of Precious Blood Parish in Stephenson. Prior to that she was a long time member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing, where she was also an active mem- ber of the rosary group and the Fostrian Manor Communion Group. She also volun- teered at the Flint North End Soup Kitch- en and was active at the Mott Park Senior Ladies Golf and the Genessee Star Quilters. Survivors include her sons: Fred (Donna) Timock of Haslett, Mich. and Father Ronald Timock of Stephenson; daughter: Annmarie (Jim) Claymore of Moraga, Calif.; grand- children: Allison (Reggie) Goodman of Holt, Mich., Julie (Chip) Vandlen of Beverly Hills, Mich., Katy Claymore of St. Helena, Calif. and Jimmy Claymore, Jr. of Berkley, Calif.; Timock was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1992; brother, George Mascko; and sisters, Anne Werle, Helen Heath, Mary Hyde, Irene, Margaret and Alice Mascko. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Precious Blood Parish on May 2. Her son, Father Ronald Timock officiated. Burial will be in the New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint.
