Marie, Mich. She was born on March 14, 1933 in Sault Ste. Marie, daughter of Vivian and Augus- tus Venier. After her grad- uation from high school in 1951, Piche attended Henry Ford School of Nursing in Detroit. She then returned to Sault Ste. Marie where she worked as a nurse for several years before becom- ing a stay at home mom. Piche was actively involved in St. Joseph Catholic School, where her children attended. She was also a member of the St. Joseph Ladies Guild. She is predeceased by her parents Vivian and Augustus Venier and a brother Joseph Venier. Piche is survived her husband, William; children Cindy (Piche) Dahlman (Roger) and William A. Piche (Kim); grandchil- dren, Stephanie Rudolph and her husband Andrew, Melissa Dahlman, Ryan and Amanda Piche. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 18 at St. Joseph Parish, Father Michael Chenier celebrated the Mass. En- tombment took place at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens. Marie Piche Marie Piche M i Mary Jane Beaumier, 78, a member of the Legacy of Faith's Bishop's Ambassador of the Diocese of Marquette, died on April 15, 2016. Beaumier was born in Clo- quet, Minn. on July 8, 1937 to Joseph Evelyn and Mary Emerald McKenna. She attended Marquette Uni- versity in Milwaukee where she met her husband, John Beaumier. Beaumier and her hus- band joined the Bishop's Ambassadors in June of 2001. They were active in the advancement of the Legacy of Faith campaign, along with instrumental in fundraising the Bishop Baraga Chapel at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette. They provided a matching grant to incentivize local fundraising. She was proceeded in death by her youngest son, Paul, in 1980. Beaumier is survived by her husband of 57 years, John; children Jack (Stephanie) of Bexley, Ohio, Anne (Michael) Ritz of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Pat (Blesie) of Cas- cade, Mich., Mike (Chris) of Palm Springs, Calif., Matt (Renee) of Duluth, Casey of Boston, Mass., Colin of Fargo, N,D., Katie (Daniel Winter) Ryan of Ann Arbor, Mich.; 12 grandchildren: Madeline, Devin, Zoe, David, Michaela, Evan, Julia, Nicholas, Henry, Claire, Abby, and Maggie; her brothers in law: Joe Grondine and Arnold Taylor, both of Escanaba; and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on April 19 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Duluth, Minn. The presider was her son, Father Casey Beaumier, SJ.
