CATHOLIC Jeri and Harold DeGrave of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Bark River were among the many couples across the Diocese of Marquette participating in the annual Milestone Anniversary Mass. This year is the 55th anniver- sary for the DeGraves. The Mass, celebrated by Bishop John Doerfler, was held Sunday, Oct. 4 at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette. The annual event, organized by the Knights of Columbus, recognizes marriages in the diocese that have reached 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th and every year beyond. Couples that register for the Mass receive a rose for the wife, renew their marriage vows and are blessed by the bishop. A reception in the par- ish hall follows the Mass.
