(Top photo) Brisson offered his time in teaching fifth through eighth grade students how to properly fold and handle the American flag. (Bottom photo) VanDusen explains to the Young Five through second grade classes about combat gear, and students were able to try it on. Students learn from veterans on Veterans Day Seventh and eighth grade students of Holy Name Catholic School (HNCS) in Escanaba spent Veterans Day by delivering handmade patriotic fleece lap blankets to area veterans. The classes collaborated with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to make the blankets. (Top photo) Seventh grade students Lily Benoit and Caleb Lake with U.S. Army Veteran Bill McGovern.
